FS: High End Amps - Zapco C2K 9.0 and 4.0 - MINT!
Sadly, I need to sell these. I bought them in mint condition, and didn't use them, but I planned to for my build. My build won't get started for several months, maybe a year and I could use the money at the moment. I'll end up buying these amps again in the future, in the same condition? I don't know but I hope so. Here they are my beloved Zapco C2K and 9.0 (4 ohm version) and 4.0.
Both:

The 9.0:

I thought I had more pics, but I guess not. If you more pics are request, I will take them for people who are seriously interested.
These amps are quite underrated, and specs are on the Zapco website, but I'll make it easier for all of you:
9.0 specs:
2 x 400W @ 4 ohms
2 x 1100W @ 2 ohms
1 x 2200W @ 4 ohms bridge
4.0 specs:
4 x 100W @ 4 ohms
4 x 150W @ 2 ohms
2 x 300W @ 4 ohms bridge
T.H.D. + Noise: <0.009%
I am asking $1,000 shipped and insured for the 9.0 and $950 shipped for the 4.0. If you want both, I'll sell them together for $1,900. Prices are OBO. Please do not ask if I want any trades because the answer is going to be NO.

some serious amps. Zapco is Quality.. Top quality boards and design. I've worked with their product. and they dont skimp on design or components. Hope these land in the hands of someone that loves sound quality.

Thanks for the bumps guys. I may let my Zapco CK-16.2 components go as well if anyone gives me a reasonable offer, but as of now I don't really have intentions on putting them up for sale.

would make a big difference. if its svc, you should be fine. if it's dvc, then you would have to wire at 6 ohms, which isn't bad but it wont get as much power, probably about 1,500-1,700w I'll assume, but it will be more efficient. I can call Zapco and find out tomorrow. If it would be doable.

I just got off the phone with Zapco. They said if it's the single 3 ohm then they would not recommend it since impedence rises and drops depending on the frequency and that amp is best kept at 4 ohms or above. So if its a dual 3 ohm then you can wire in series at 6 ohms and you won't have any problems. You won't get the full rated 2,200w, but it would be close as I mentioned.
To tell whether you have the single or dual voice coil its very simple. How many positive and negatives does the sub have? If it has 1 pos and neg then its a single voice coil. If it's got two of each, it's dual voice coil. Alternatively, the same goes for quad voice coils (which JL does not make, but if the sub had 4 pos and 4 neg for the speakers wires to hook up to, then its a QVC.
Also, someone I know who uses Zapco equipment (sponsored by them I believe) stated that these 9.0's can put out 3,500w, sometimes more, but that Zapco will neither deny or agree with the statement. I used to have a video where they tested one of the channels and it tested to put out 1,800 or so watts, so in total the amp would be putting out 3,600...wish I still had it, but I'm not sure what happened to it.

I am actually, but what's keeping me up is that I'm gonna get them again. It was my fault for purchasing them too soon. I get tempted and can't control it when it comes to my audio or car
