Dude flat out said they were from a coupe.
Not sure what us a readers were supposed to take from the comments except for it should fit a coupe w/ or w/o rolling the fenders. (and I'd assume w/o it looking like a lowrider)
I mean really. Who was he supposed to be marketing these wheels to if clearly wasn't going to fit a sedan and apparently doesn't fit a coupe very well either?

Do not modify the wheels in any way if you wish to reach a resolution. That's like buying a spruce tree, finding out the person really sold you a maple tree, and chopping down the tree instead of having them remove the tree and being able to resell the maple tree. You'd essentially be damaging his property and he would be able to file a counterclaim against you for doing so when you win your case.

I would guess that these have negative offsets. look how fat the lips looked compared to a regular aero setup on a coupe. it's only 8.5 x 10 also.

i have a pair of shoes and im trying to sell them. i post that i dont have the exact size number but i can tell you i have big feet and the guy i bought them from had a size 12 shoe. when you get the shoes they are as described except they dont fit your size 12 foot. they are more like size 15.
might be a bad example but its all i thought of,
