FS: STS Turbo kit for sedan
#17
Well you could always open up a 12-month 0% APR credit card, many people do that with big mods. Of course make sure you will have that money in a year haha
Plus as mentioned, it is 3k or best offer!

Im going to answer that question by quoting FI´d G who has an STS turbo on his coupe...
So as you see, the turbo lag is about the same as a Turbonetics kit, or maybe even better.
I hit 9psi at 3700rpm.. Most TN hit 9psi between 4000-4400rpm. This is with the crappy Utec BCS so with an EBC I have no doubt I can hit full boost much earlier.
I believe this is your Dyno at only 7psi. Look at your Peak TQ, you didnt hit your peak TQ until 4500rpm so you didnt hit full boost until way past 4000rpm at only 7psi. I hit 9psi at 3700rpm and my Peak TQ was somewhere around 4000rpm. I'm going to look for MIAPLAYA's dyno and I think he hit 9ps at 4000rpm...

Here's GTM Dyno of the TN and look how late they hit their peak TQ compare to mine.. TN dont hit peak TQ with the 9psi until 4400rpm... AND THIS IS WITH the Blitz SBC boost controller that cost $500 vs my crappy Utec BCS that cost $80.. lol If STS is way late then what do you call the TN boost curve?..
Before and After (N/A vs. 9PSI)

I'm not sure what's the limit of the stock block, but I see most people running 8 or 9 PSI on their turbo kits. The previous owner had a stock engine. Don't worry, these are normal questions, let me know if you have any more.
