FS: Greddy type RS bov fits right on vortech piping MAKE OFFERS

Selling my gredy RS bov. Fits right on the vortech piping for the vortech bov. Just take off your vortech bov and bolt these on without modification to the flange. Sounds very nice. Only asking $170 obo in socal. slightly used, xlnt condition.

u do know the vortech uses a bypass valve NOT a blow off valve. So just bc it fits on the flange doesn't mean it works as a bypass valve.

I am not going to debate the difference between bpv and bov. many other vortech users use this bov

What do you mean modded? It's not modded it's just a regular rs bov. Sounds much better than the vortech one IMO.

I remember one of the Greddy BOV being able to be modified to use as a BPV. So, OP, did you modify this BOV?

yeah, because you'll loose. You can modify these to work with the vortech, but unless it is modified, you risk damaging the blower.

There is a DIY on my350z I believe if you guys are interested.

This certain valve has option to be used as a by pass valve. You do not need to modify the valve itself, you just need to buy an optional flange greddy sells I believe.

Please don't start a stupid debate thread, let the seller sell his stuff man. This is a for sale thread, not a debate thread.

Oh and fyi, the vortech valve does not plumb air back into the intake either for those who are so concerned about the bpv vs bov

Not starting a debate. Informing unknown buyers. Luckily, we look out for our kin when something is amiss.

Like I said, I am pretty certain you can modify this to work for a Vortech, but it IS a BOV, not a BPV from factory.

And this isn't about the air being 'plumed' back, it's about NOT releasing the pressure at all times like a BPV should.

bpv just means the air you vent plumbs rerouted back into the intake so the maf sensor doesn't lose the already metered air. it has NOTHING to do with releasing the pressure at all times.
