what exactly do u hook this up 2,, does an isntall shop have to do this ,,????juss wondering?? does it work if i got a on 06 AT with bose n sound system already

 

there is a sat hookup in the trunk in the back rear section where the bose amps are. its plug and play. i ran it to the compartment in between the rear seats.

it should work on your car no problem!

 

Can you control the iPod from the steering wheel controls with this unit?

 

you can, the track up/down button works, but you have to hold for 3 seconds for it to activate. if not, it thinks its cycling through your "CD"s its weird and the only subpar function about this unit. BUT, you can control through the headunit and you get an ultra clean signal from your IPOD.

its an awesome upgrade.

AND it charges your IPOD at the same time.

 

does it matter what year the G is or if it has the Bose stereo? (I have a 03 with bose).. interested.

 

as long as you have the SAT option and you have no XM/SIRIUS (I have no idea which one is for the Infiniti...) then you should be good.

 

Is this still available? I'm assuming this should works with all infinit (I have FX). Do you know if factory Sat radio will still work?
