FS: Vortech supercharger for revup
i am selling my vortech supercharger for revup engines.. the blower needs to be sent to vortech for new bearings. i called vortech today and they told me new bearings plus seal will be 360.. i was wondering if anyone wnated this kit and fix the blower themselves.. kit comes with everything needed for install including the fmic. all you need is an engine mangement( i am runing the utec), fuel pump and injectors. asking $2000
pictures will be up as soon as its off the car, just seeing if there are any interest with the blower needing to be fixed.

there is roughly 30k on the kit. the supercharger kit is currently on my car i can take pics if you want me to but i dont plan on taking off the whole kit unless i have a buyer. If i cant sell it i am going to take off only the blower and get it repaired, but if i have a buyer i am going twin turbo. I will be willing to ship to canada if you pay for the shipping costs.

If you guys want it all you have to do is ship the blower itself to vortech and they will ship it back within 2 weeks.

i do not know what caused it.. the blower still spins, it just makes a screeching sound... it is more obvious at low rpms.. at higher rpms it doesnt seem to screech that much.. i took it to my mechanic and he told me my bearings were going bad and to prevent further damage to take off the cog pulley to prevent the blower from spinning... i do not know what caused it but this car has been my daily driver for the past 2 years. i am not saying you should expect a bad bearing at every 30k miles but it happened to me.. i dont think its that uncommon.. im sure a handful of people here have gotten theres rebuilt...

damn im reallr interested in this kit. Everybody know how hard it is to find a used rev up S/c. but you have broken parts and no pics. If I could see some pics so I can confirm its state of being that would be great. The bearing is an easy fix as far as cost.
