Yeah I am with you Fiveseven... I am looking for a DD with nav. You can add on the new blackbird NAVI which looks great and seems priced very well compared to otehrs in this segment. The bluetooth is an addtional 220 bux to boot.

Alpine does have the Nav as a option but it is a stand-alone box. It is the best nav on the market right now IMO. It can even get traffic speed information via XM.

they have two units and the only one that has integration has the following to ssay:
When paired with an Alpine AV Head Unit, such as the IVA-D310, for full PulseTouch™ control. Combine this unit with any of the following Alpine products, allowing you to build your own, perfect system: IVA-D310, IVA-D901, CVA-1014, TME-M770, TME-M710, VPA-B211A.

kool. I will do a little more research into it. If it seems like I am grilling this issue it is becasue I am an interested buyer.
I knwo the FM module will work with it; I am more concerned with the docking station. This would be a perfect combo for me because I do a lot of business travel and more time than none i ri into road congestion with local travel in my home town.
I want touch screen interation with the BB when in my car but this is not such a big issue for me when out of town on business.
If you have any insight as to whre I can find supporting documentation then I would like to talk to you about the HU.

They mentioned some other units as well so I want to compare their feature sets to the alpine. I had no idea this sort of combo was beiging to form out there. I had been holding out for just this sort of config.
Man I can't begin to tell yu how this would help me out. I am sick of renting never lost at hertz and getting stuck in traffic on i75 when back home.
I will be in touch very soon.
