Ultinons d2s

I have a pair of ultinons d2s for projector style housing. Got the wrong bulb for my housing need d2r's. I can send back and pay a 20% restocking fee but would rather sell to a member first. 180 shipped to lower 48 states.

Instead of selling, just take a dremel and cut out the notch on the other side of the plastic base. It's already pre-marked for you.

I have the Ultinons and they're D2S modified for D2R - modified as in the exact way i just mentioned.

Now the bulb fits both.

you have now converted your bulb to a d2c...a universal bulb which, like you said, will fit both projectors and reflectors.

Do I cut the EXACT OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE BIG NOTCH, WIth the same size Notch?

Your pics are kinda blurry, so it's hard to tell where on the base.

However, the pic posted by Superdds is a nice guideline.

If you look closely at the base of the bulb, you can kinda see an outline of where the other notch is supposed to be.

I had the guy i bought the bulbs from do it for me, and he showed me where it was outlined. And when i went home to put in the bulbs, they were a perfect fit. So i know this bulb mod works. It's just a matter of finding that notch.

EDIT: I just realized you're not the original seller. If the bulbs in those pics are Philips Ultinon's, then it should be pre-marked. If not, you may not be so lucky.
