Replacement.. is the reverse order.. I just needed access to the rear of the Head Unit to connect my tvandnavtogo box and PA11-NIS.

1st step for 05 AT

... is to put the car in Neutral. I pulled and pulled to no avail at first. After that, the rest was a breeze. My only difficulty was in getting the HU back in after installing the PA11-NIS along with an internal 12V outlet. Had to move the outlet up to the nav cubby.

Woohoo! Thanks for the removal instructions Real_G, I installed the AAI-NIS2 today and all seems to be working. I only broke and lost 2 plastic clips down the back of the headunit in the process, but all seemed to fit together fine without em

it's only for 05-06 sedan or 05-07 coupe.

Finally found this thread ... been looking for it for awhile now. for those who were looking for it. heres a bump . also mods can you guys please move it to the DIY section? and prolly sticky it? thank you.

edit: also do i need to do anything to the shift lock? or do i just put it in neutral to remove it? (for an 06 AT coupe)

great write up. I did it today. Broke 2 of those little white clips taking the clock shroud off but other than that everything came apart and went back together without a hitch.
