I got the Pioneer Double Din and installed on 2005... for the E brake... i think i wired to wrong place ( i wired to purple/blue wire? thats connected to the brake down there...) after that... my brake lights is not working now... it shows slip on all the tiem.. abs light is on too... and when the car is not on... the brake is locked... and when i turn on the engine... the shift is locked.... anyone can help??? or anyone knows a shop around LA can help

 

If you get stuck, I'll redo it for you. (I'm in Burbank) I have a Pioneer AVIC-D1 in my 05 that I installed. I would recommend simply grounding the parking brake wire. Then of course there is a missing wire in the D1 harness which you should ground as well.

 

im using the avh-p6800dvd, but if u can fix for me that will be the best... when is a good tiem for u, i hope to finish it as soon as possible... and i do work... only have time at nite time, number is 714-651-0318

 

i finish everything already, everything is working... the shift is locked... and i have to click the shift buttom to unlock it everytime when i need to drive it

 

the shift is locked? What do you mean by that?

 

i attached the green wire ( should go with ebrake) to the wire to the brake (purple blue wire)... after i did that... the 'slip' light came out... 'ABS' light came out... VDP? light came out... and the brake lights in the back is not working anymore... and the shift knot?, the middle part... is locked.. basically... it will not let me shift from Parking to D or R at all... ( the engine is on and my foot is on the brake)...

 

Make sure you put the shifter plate on correctly (the piece with "P" "R" "D" etc..)... there's a piece that slides around freely that the shifter needs to go through it - if you don't put it on right I don't think the shifter will move. I don't think wiring will have an affect on being able to shift.

 

i havnt put that in yet... lol
