How loud do you turn ur Bose system up?
ill have it at 15-20 normally, but if the girlfriend is bitching it easily finds its way to 30. I think the bose sounds very good and so do most people who are in my car. maybe some people have better ears than others, or maybe some dont sound as good as others.
i turn it up to like 45 with my eclipse ands its a lot louder than stock hu at 31 and i havent blown anything....... for all u guys worried out there. i had a speaker die.... but it wasnt because of loud music.... and it was with stock hu

does that mean that it wont blow itself very easily? :0)
Man I'm 25 yrs old and I'm through with installing components and subs in my ryde. It was fun when I was like 18 and driving my accord but this is a G35. It's about class, not being an *** especially pulling up next to a family van with lyrics like "Yo motherfu**er" and "Mah bit*ches n' hoes".
After trying to tell myself the system was not that bad, I finally added a 5 channel amp and a 10" orion. The diff is night and day. The bose system is ok if you do not crank on it or if you don't care about distortion.
Someone on here did an audio analysis on the HU and found that 23 was the highest you could go without distortion. I run mine at 17 to 20 most of the time. If you want to avoid the dreaded "non-memory" of the tone settings, you must push the volume past 20 to return to any setting above +3, other wise it will stay at +3 and go no higher. Try it you will freak. It happens if you shut the car down and come back later.
