Hey, i like my bose system by the way... for all you haters! :0) anyways, I was just wondering what # I can safely turn my system up to... I dont go above 20 usually cuz I get scared its gona blow. How high have you gone?! Thanks for the help!

 

In my 2005 I used to crank it to about 23 then it blew up on me, so the 2006 is getting a complete system upgrade because imo the "blose" system sucks bad.

 

Hmm ive had it at 23 maybe 1 or 2 times, do you start to hear the sound distort or anything? It sounded crystal clear to me :0/

 

Turn it up as loud as you want. It'll still sound like crap.

 

For as much as drive mine it is not worth a custom system. I think it sounds ok also. It does kinda sound like it is playing through a pillow sometimes though.

 

I put it up to 28 all the time. sometimes 30 if its FM radio

 

Bose makes the best sound systems in the world as far as theaters go..cars the only stock ones i have heard that are better are the harmon kardon in the BMWs but i think it sounds amazing being a stock system..if they bose only made 12 inch subs

 

i think it sounds "best" at 21.

I turn it all the way up when the windows are rolled down...can really make out the distorted sound from the wind noise so it sounds fine. And as far as being scared if they're gonna blow...thats what warranties are for.

 

i usually turn it up to 28.... but i have a sub... it takes the bass away from the rear 6X9's allowing them to play clearer louder and they dont distore.... i think it sounds very good for a basically stock system.. o btw the sub is a 10W6V2-D4 in 4080's box.... sounds sickkkkk

 

Never go above 18 usually. HIghesy its been is 22 or 23 when using bluetooth
