03 Sedan Amp/Sub problem (Electrical)

I recently installed a PPI 500.1 amp with a Kicker CVR12, dual 2 ohm. Problem is, when sitting at a stoplight or something, and the system is pounding, the tranny seems to not shift right, and the car hesitates. ANy help??

Well that could be an issue with the car itself and not necessarily your audio system. Although, if you have a 500/1 amp and no Cap, you might be pulling too much power from your alternator.
