Problem with navi screen

Hi guys, I searched so don't get mad at me if there's info on this already...

I just bought an 03 G35c with navi... and the navi has been working fine so far, for the most part. But a few days ago I noticed a problem with it where the screen would start changing contrasts, if that makes sense. like, some lines would form on the screen and it would gradually get very white-washed. during this time, the functions of the system wouldn't work. like, nothing happened when i pressed a button. i thought maybe it was just a glitch.... or it got overheated. but then it happened again a bunch of times.

has anyone else had this problem, and if so could you tell me what you'd recommend? i believe i'm still under warranty, so would they probably fix it for free?

Never heard of this, but yes its covered by warrenty. However if you are not able to bring in the car with the problem active they may refuse to fix it because its "working".
