Re: Speaker Brands...

Im going to be getting the following setup in about 2 weeks.

TRU Technology C7 Amp for mids/highs
TRU Technology C7.2 for subs
TRU Technology F2 Crossover
Morel HCW 6.5" drivers/midrange
Morel Supremo Tweeters
Speakers will be running all active (no passive crossovers)
2 Elemental Designs E10A 10" subs

Estimated cost with install is $10 grand..my cost...not close.

I will be having all of this custom built into the trunk of my coupe. I will have pics of it when it is finished.

Re: Speaker Brands...

The seas lotus set is a VERY good set...better than quart, focal, and dynaudio in my opinion. The set is worth about 700 so that is a great price.

Re: Speaker Brands...

Will be starting my upgrade tomorrow morning, using Focal
6w2's (61/2") as midbass in factory door locations, Audiom 6w in custom kick panels as midrange, TN 51 tweets in the "A" pillars.
This combination (along with P9 head unit and processor), and 7 channels of Extant amplification totaling 1450 watts got me to the national finals last season. Hoping for a repeat in my new 6MT/Leather Coupe.

Re: Speaker Brands...

I just dropped Alpine SPX-177a 's into my front doors.
(I wired the crossover off of the Bose 4 Ohm tweeter lead).

Sounds so much better, now I can afford to wait to finish the rest of the car.
