Amp install help.

Hey guys, i just tried to install my amp but something doesnt seem to be working. Just curious, if i just hked up the power wire, ground, and remote wire which was spliced from the bose amp, shouldnt i get the amp to turn on if i turn on the ignition even w/out hking up the speaker inputs/outputs? I checked the fuse on my power wire, and the fuse on the amp...both seem to be ok. Is there another fuse i might want to check?

bad ground probably. make sure your ground is tight, on bare metal directly on the chassis
