center console died

Well, my car goes into the dealer on Friday because of the center console being completely dead. This morning everything was fine, drove to work, no problems whatsoever. I leave from work, start the car and hit the wheel to turn the stereo on, nothing. I look over and no lights on anything in the center, no radio, A/C nothing. Hit the buttons, no go, nothing works at all. Weird thing is the A/C is on and shows on the above display dual climate control set at 78, blowing nice cool air. I searched the archives but havn't seen this issue. Anyone have a clue? I checked fuses and they are fine but I did not know if there was a fusable link going to the center. Ideas? Thank goodness I'm still under warranty.

nope checked them all. The way the whole center died it would seem that if it was a fuse then at least 2 would have blown.

No I checked the stereo and others but not the mirror fuse. Hmmm, I'll check on that in the morning. Is it wired in thru the console?

i think you need a new board (the one behind the stereo/AC unit).
