So i'm planning on getting the DD kit for my 06 G. My concern is will the navi still have the voice, ex: turn left on this street blah blah. Also is there a way that i can intergrate the steering wheels control to the unit too. Also if i play dvd on the headunit can i somehow convert it so it can play it on the headunit and the navi screen?

i believe you can have the voice stuff still work with the aftermarket stuff, but it won't be as great. You just have to connect the audio wire from the navigation unit to the speakers. I'm not sure on how the stock navigation works cuz i don't have one, but maybe someone who has it and swapped out the stock unit can chime in and help you. good luck!
