Pioneer AVIC-Z1 Installed (PICS)

As far as the SAT goes... Do nothing. Once it is all installed, you will be able to pick up the SAT radio stations (well, some of them anyway). Once up and running and you are happy with everything working properly, you can call them up or subscribe on the web. One of the requirements is to have the radio turned on when you do the activation, so don't try to subscribe before the radio is up

I had mine originally installed in the card holder above the driver's door, and that was no good. Now it is tucked between the A pillar cover and the head liner near the windshield.
Where did you install the camera? Mine is looking through the (now widened) passenger side lower bolt-hole of my license plate. It's a little low, but I didn't have to drill into the bumper.

I'll take pics of it later today to show you what I got.

I'm pretty sure it'll be pretty much plug and play as the D1 is double din as well. I'm thinking the PAC-SWI-PS will work exactly as before. I need to actually install that as well. I'm too lazy to though
Probably this weekend, if it's not 105 again in Sac. . .

Hey all,
Fantastic thread...the Z1 looks awesome. Anyone have any rough labor estimates to get someone in SoCal to install the Z1 with the ipod adapter, XM Traffic, Bluetooth adapter, steering wheel remote, and rear view camera?
I figure the equipment is around $2500, but I have no idea how many hours and hourly rate I should expect?
I have the stock system (no NAV) 2005 Coupe AUTOMATIC with the DUAL climate control.
