Hey Tig any idea what bracket I would need if I were to install 2 1 din units? Would i just need the bracket you ordered, or would i need 2 of them?

 

just 1, but depends on if you want to modify yours, you shouldnt need to buy 1, just use the one you got

tig488, can you show me the exact part i need to get, i want to install the same alpine deck as you, cda-7995, but i dont want it to have that black trimming, i want it to match the titanium trim on the OEM dash, so what parts do i need to order?

cant i just go to a car stereo shop and they order a kit for me? or does it have to be a special kit, i never knew it was this difficult to install an aftermarket stereo in your car. hrmm... $300 just to rebuy the dash, that doesnt include labor cost to get your system installed...

nyckid, all this info is in previous posts by me, not too long ago, just look for it,

amg35- the ac controller is perfect, no difference at all, well except the dual zone button is non functional, still lights up tho so im pleased with it.

I'm still waiting for my double din parts... is this normal? I figured paying $65 for shipping i'd have it in a few days. I put the order in beginning of last week. I heard someone on here got it in 2 days after they ordered it???

i got mine in 2-3 days, first you pay for the order, then he orders it from nissan japan, then he tells you he has it, then you pay shipping, then he ships it, has it taken that long since you paid shipping or since he put the order in? and I only paid 30 for shipping, i think.

Well thats not cool. He billed me for all the parts and put $65 for shipping and said he'd let me know when he got the parts from nissan. This was last wednesday.

I also ordered from him, got billed last thurs/fri, and he hasn't emailed me to say he's shipped the parts. I'm guessing more people have put in orders to him and thus it is taking him longer to get parts from Nissan.

I don't think he's charged me shipping yet though.

id say hes probably just swamped, especially if as many people ordered it as i think, give him some time, hes legit, he helped me alot. i cant remember shipping exactly, but i think it was 30-40.

I ordered last week and he told me he thought it would be about 3 weeks before he received the parts from Nissan. He also charged me upfront for the shipping ($65).

 

Understandable... I got an e-mail reply from him stating that he has everything but the AC controls and that could take up to 2 weeks to obtain, i'm sure he was swamped and wants to make a little more money, so no worries.

1. what do i need to buy exactly?
2. do i really need this bracket or is it ok to not have it as some have done?
3. is the black and the titanium the same price?
4. where can i find installation instructions?
