Nice install!!!! So where did you mount the AudioControl DQT???? I have a reserved spot in my condo garage, a dremel, and a couch to sleep on. Is that enough for you to do an install???

Time to chime in....

I'm speechless in Bing's craftsmanship, knowledge, & tactfulness in his approach in taking on my car's audio install. Anyone who needs a car audio installation, especially in Cali would be a fool not to give Bing a call & see what he can do for you. I'm impressed, friends & family are impressed & the police too; already had a complementing warning from the officer....lol. BTW... the pic below is what he means by a "table saw".

the main tools i absolutely need:

table saw thats big, somehwat the size of the above, but those can be rented

air compressor of decent size that can power nail and screw guns

a garage that is enclosured, meaning i wont be in a huge parking garage and getting saw dust everywhere lol

if you are in NYC and Northern Virginia, i dont need a place to sleep since i got tons of friends in that area, s thats your aorbeta lol

but generally hte more tools you have, the bgetter since lugging a 70lb luggage all over hte place was not fun lol

the dqt is stashed under hte fake floor on the driver side no point displaying it since it will just ruin the symetry of the install

pete, i figured it would be only time before the bass got in trouble...

Was there a lock on the dvd player when the car is in motion like most of the other dvd player units out there? I have some live in concert dvd's iwould like to play while driving. Were you guys able to bypass it if there was indeed the lock?

the 6800 is pretty nice, inteface is nice..

all you need to do is wire the parking brake to a ground switch, it needs to be off and then on for hte security to be bypassed..

meaning you cannot just wire it to ground all the time, the player needs to see that there is no ground signal on it at first, and then grounded

Bing,

As usual... fantastic work. And I LOVE all of the work you do with the eD amps. Of course the DLS components are nice too. It's just good to see the eD love.
