I have the "auto-mute" turned on, so when it gets a signal, it beeps loud for 3 seconds and mutes itself. I don't have to touch the unit itself, but since I can't see it either, I would like to remote the warning light somehow.

 

Do you mean when I turn the car off, does it turn off? If so yes, it turns on/off with the ignition.
