List of Known Differential Balance Input Compatible Amps

I am hoping everyone can chip in to put together a list of amps that are compatible with the outputs of the Bose OEM system. I know there is some disagreement about this topic, but let's leave that for another time. So here is what I've been able to find during my google and G35Driver searches:

- JL Audio - Slash and A-series amps

- DLS - Website doesn't list as an option, but I've read it to be true on this site. I'm not sure if every series is compatible.

- eD - nine.4 (thanks BConrey)

I will update as I find more models and as everyone posts their findings. If you have experience with a particular amp, please provide that as well. Thanks!!!

I'm running an eD Nine.4 without an LOC no problem, so I can only assume it supports differential inputs.

So, you get the joke yet genius? Or are you going to list infiniti amps as being a possible problem? This differential balanced FUD really has a life of it's own.

Coming from a guy with a f'ing Gorillaz quote in his sig. That is why I spelled it with the "y" to make sure he was joking. Get a life, ***...

Here's the odd part:

eD SAYS they aren't balanced compatible, and DLS says the same thing about the CA series, but it works fine in many cars.

The JL says they are balanced compatible, but you often have to keep the gains low in my experience or you get noise.

Yeah, and Chris at eD said the same when I asked before ordering, so I also purchased an LOC. Late one Friday night, having just installed the amp and connecting all the wiring, I figured I'd just try it without the LOC and see....and it sounds great. I've picked up a tiny bit of noise that I'm going to use a ISO2 GLI to get rid of, but other than that I've had no problem.

I've long had experience with differential balanced signals (in the SCSI world) but never heard of it in automotive amps until I started lurking here, so I wasn't (or still am not) sure what constitutes 'differential compatible' versus non, from an electrical perspective.
