I currently have XM radio in my other car with the antenna on the roof. Since the car is black the antenna somewhat blends in. I really want to get XM for my coupe but I do not want to put the antenna on the exterior. My G does not have the wing so my 3rd brake light is on the rear deck. Now from the looks of it I don't think that I have enough room on the rear deck to put the antenna. My question is, has anyone had installed the antenna on the rear deck that has the 3rd brake light? Any information would be helpful.

People have removed one of the child safety harnesses on the rear deck and installed it there. Check out freshalloy for pics, do a search. My 6MT came stock with the XM on the roof, I'm probably gonna remove it soon and mount it on the rear deck. I have huper optik tint (ceramic-based) too so it won't interfere with the signal.

I just bought the kit from the dealer and ordered 2 wip, glass mount antennas for the rear window from crushfield (spelling?). One is from Terk and the other from Antenna Specialist. I'll install whichever I like best this weekend. If you need more info, PM me.
