Anybody have experiences to share? I am looking at using one of these amps in my 03.5 sedan. Where do you have yours mounted? I am a little worried that the 25 watts to the rear channels on the 500/5 won't be enough.

I plan to use Kappa components in the front and reference 6x9's in the back. I am going to add a 10" sub in a sealed box later. I plan to use blacksheep's method to tap into the factory system using the bose hu.

I have the 500/5 ....it is plenty . JL's 25 watt rating is comparable to other manufacturers' 100 watts. My system sounds awesome.

 

Thanks for the input max. Do you have any pics? Where do you have the amp mounted? What speakers are you pushing?

 

Has anyone heard an Eclipse XA5000? It's a 5 channel Class D amp. Do you think I would have trouble mounting it near the fm antenna (on back seat)?
