the +4 +4 doesnt work either. If u turn car on and do +3 then back to +4 its a huge diference still.

Infiniti never fixed this issue it seems

****ty how everytime I get in the car, the first thing that gets done is bass -1 then +1, same goes for the treble.

and at first I was saying my settings were the same until I tried it. and sounds much much better!
You don't have to do that. Just turn the volume up past 20, they'll come back.

this occurs because the eq is on the actual amp. why you never buy aftermarket (so-called) parts at your dealer. go spend that 1800 of a real stereo somewhere else.

i just got the rockford 3sixty.2 - its excellent! even if you only go with it on stock speakers, its a major change in sound.

Radio - treble/bass memory fix

Hello everyone,
Newbie here. Just purchased a 2005 coupe with premium package. Love the car, however, I am having trouble with my radio. I've been searching this forum and other sites for a fix to this treble/bass memory bug. Its really annoying. Has anyone found a solution to this problem? Went to the Infiniti dealer yesterday and nobody could give me an answer. I would greatly appreciate anyone's insight into this.

It does bug me too. I remember someone here said they took it back to the dealer and they fixed it. I'm not sure I believe it, however. I just turn the volume past 20 each time I turn the radio on.

Just take it back to the dealer. Issue probably lies with the constant 12v power supply needed to sustain the memory.

Bet they don't. If you have your audio setting set to +4 or +5, AND you have the Blows "premium" (sic) sound system, I bet you have never noticed it. Next time you get in the car, listen to the system then, turn the volume PAST 20 and back to where you had it. I'll bet you notice a difference in treble and bass.

If that were the case, you would also lose your memory settings.

i just went out to my car during lunch and i actually keep my setting at B 3+ and T 5+, not 4+. turned it past 20 and back. sounded the same and the settings stayed the same. turned off the ignition, back on and the settings stayed at 5+ on both. are you saying the settings stay the same but the actual "audio" resets, or the actual settings go back?
