Best way to run 4ga cable from Batt to Trunk?

Hey Guys,

I will be installing my amp this comming weekend and was wondering what the best route to take with the cable would be? Any secret cavities in the G? I know in my Maxima there was a rubber grommet I could pop out and run that way.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

There's a rubber grommet right behind the battery that you can drill through. You can then run the wire behind the glove box down the passenger side all the way to the trunk. Just remember to seal up the hole once you are done.

If you open the thood and stare at the battery, behind the battery (as in closer to the front windshield) you will see a rubber dome of sorts. Poke a hole in this and send your cable through, it will come out conveniently at the passenger foot area. Make sure you seal around the cable with silicon, as this rubber dome gets covered with the water runoff from the windshield.

Ahh, awesome! Exactly what I was hoping for. I will seal it off with Silicoln when I'm done.

Thanks a lot for the quick responces!

to clarify, the cable drops in the passenger foot area BEHIND the right panel. just rip it out, it's secured with clips. you will have to remove the little finisher along the step as well as the panel under the glove box.

Don't poke a hole in the grommet though, undo all the tape around the gasket, insert the wire back through the grommet top, and retape using a combination of high temp. electrical tape and liquid electrical tape. It will look the cleanest, and no need to use silicone to seal the hole and worry about leaking

poking a hole in the grommet is fine, works fine, and looks fine. easier too. doesn't leak.
