Avic Z1 06 Coupe Premium

Hi, I know this has been discussed but I'm seriouslly confused. Will the Pioneer Avic Z1 work with the 2006 Coupe 6MT with Premium and no Navigation?

It seems as though it won't install, and crutchfield shows as it is not compatiable.

How does the bluetooth integration work? I already have bluetooth in the car, so do I need to get anything else?

Has anyone done this on the 06, and could you please tell me exactly what to order so i can give it to the installer?

Thanks
Nish

Read the many threads that show it is successfully installed. In fact, there is a thread asking this exact same question and we all went into massive detail of everything he's going to need. Sorry, I only spoon feed once a month. You'll have to wait till September or hope someone else does.

I'll give you a hint, look for a thread called "Lots and Lots of questions: Newb" in this forum.

Yes, it will work. I just put it in my 06' Coupe.

You'll need the following:

1. 06 Double Din Finisher
http://www.grubbsperformance.com/Mer...e=G35CoupeDash

2. 06 Double Din A/C Control
http://www.grubbsperformance.com/Mer...e=G35CoupeDash

3. AVIC-Z1
http://6ave.com/main.jsp --> Call 1-877-684-2831 and ask for Roberto when you're ready to buy ... tell him Anthony Pagano sent you. He'll give you an outrageous deal.

Read the following website to get more info on the headunit: http://www.avic411.com/forum/

... Ok, care to share?

That's all I brought to my installer (along with a few pioneer accesories) and it worked out perfect for me.

You bring the Bluetooth pioneer accessory too?

Well I see in your SPEC that you did, so did you have premium already when you bought the car or no?

Antenna adaptor, RCA's, Nissan wiring harness...
Depends on what the rest of the install is. (ie connecting to factory speakers/wiring, or an upgraded amp)

The OP asked what he need to bring to his installer in order for the setup to work. I'm assuming his installer is a shop, therefore the shop would have the rest of the items (antenna, nissan wiring harness, etc.) as my installer did.

I had the ND-BT1 (Bluetooth Wireless Adapter), CD-IB100II (iPod Interface Adapter), GEX-P920XM (XM Digital Satellite Tuner), PAC SWI-PS (Steering Wheel Control Interface), and Ducatiboy Hack installed. I opted not to get the Premium Package as I intended on putting the AVIC-Z1 in immediately after buying the car.

The Z1 has a hardwired remote connection doesn't it?
