Found a nice location to mount an amp
Since I got rid of my bose, I found this little spot to be a nice *hidden* place for the amp.

Now on the back of the seat, I can mount my sub amp and x-overs
What do you all think?

its not a bad place and i have considered it before, but god help you if you ever have to tune it or fix it, cahse everytime, you will need to do all that to get to it
but again, or a completely hidden location, it aint bad...i may try a variation of that install in the near future so there can be the best of both worlds...now i just need to find another G to do lol

The vent is on the side near the bumper, you can see it in the pic in the corner by the amp. I installed my amp in the same location, but on the top of the stock amp bracket, just enough room to put the cover back on. I'm eventually going to install a fan to blow out of the vent along with one that will push air into the area from the space near the bottom of the spare tire. I'll get pics when I get a chance

I cut the black plastic "fins" that are on the underside of the black floor/support piece so that my 500/5 would fit on top of the stock amp bracket. But yeah, that's the same place I fit my 500/5.
