I need advise on where to purchase some 6.5 replacement mids for all four doors on the base stereo on my 6mt sedan. I already have 2 amplifiers and 2 12" subs. I am looking for the best sound for the $, but don't want to spent way too much. I also need tweeters for the doors.

 

First, you need to tell us how much you are willing to spend. Then you need to tell us if you have a brand preference and also what type of music you listen too. What kind of setup do you currently have, brands, wattage, etc? How much power will you be giving the speakers? Without knowing any of those things, it is impossible for me to give you a good reccomendation.

Also you can purchase 6.5" mids anywhere you like depending on what you want. Again, I need to know more about your situation before i can suggest a product....also are you looking for a component set for up front? or will you be using a seperate tweeter and midrange and going active? Are you interested in sound quality or sheer volume?

I almost finished designing a competition SQ system for my G35 coupe and can help you with what you are asking, but i need to know the basics before i can suggest a good product for you.

As far as brands are concerned, MB quart, Dynaudio, Rainbow, Focal, Eclipse, Adire, Morel, Vifa, ScanSpeak, Peerless, CDT Audio, and DLS are all very good brands and are fairly highend. After you give me a price range and more info i will suggest specific sets for you.

Go to your local car audio specialty store (Not Best Buy or Circuit City) and go LISTEN to what sounds good to you.

MB Quart, Focal, Planet Audio are some I would look into 1st.
