^^^ Lol... hard to breath when my bank account is slowley dwindling away...

Question to all that know CDT's.... I bought 2 sets of CDT's 6.5's with upstage technology... One for the front doors and one for either the rear decklid in the cabin or for in the trunk on the trunklid on each side of my screen... Where would they be more benificial??? Would it make sense to have 2 sets of these CDT's w/ upstage in the cabin of the car?

Nice choice of equipment. But you should have looked into Focal or Dynaudio as well. Price wise you're already getting up there, hehehe. Looking forward to see your pics.

Since you got dash apart? might as well change the in-cabin filter , its always amaze me that how they could ever put the dash back while it looks like that. Trunk lid looking good, the cam on it is a nice touch, special when it the show ppl walking by can wave to themselfs , didnt know you were going to use 4080 box tho, cant wait to see when its finished.

It is coming along nicely and I hope to have her done by Monday or Tuesday... Time to get working on the amp rack and the trunk... Got the CDT's in the doors today and tweeters all set up...

I hope she turns out the way I invision her...

Get yourself some RAAMAT instead ,its better and cheaper,if you want to read more on audio products get over to eca,or diy car audio,Lots of high end tech help in the car audio area.Good luck.Try to listen to as many set ups in a car similiar to yours with different speakers.

 

So who is doing the install for you?

 

John at Pro-Guard is doing the install for me. I should have her back tomorrow. John is a cool guy and I have been hangin there lending a hand so I can also learn how it is all wired up after I get off work... I just got home and he is wiring up the amps and crossovers now. All he has left is the enclosure for the top of the amps and behind the TV inbetween that and the rear seat... I can't wait to hear this puppy fired up! I am going to add my own lighting to the set up once he is finished. I should have pics up by the weekend... I used the upstage only inthe front and used 6.5 CDT's w/ tweets centered on the rear deck and removed the speakers by the armrests in the back... The PS2 is set up and the picture on the 5 screens look great!

What do you think of the trunk lid? I am loving it!

It is amazing how crappy the Bose System is in these cars!!

My 17 year old son made me "test" out the base with some Techno... There is a song with the "worlds lowest base" and..... It was actually hard to breath in that car..... WoW.... I am pretty much speechless.... and I feel old now... LMAO...
