Will the CD-IB100II IPOD interface work with the AVIC-N1????

I have the AVIC-N1 and I have had it for about 2 years. I just purchased the CD-IB100II which allows an I-Pod to hook directly to a pioneer headunit and allows the headunit to control the i-pod. The I-pod is supposed to be displayed on the headunit.

I was told by Circuit City that it would work with the AVIC-N1, however, another website I found said that I needed an upgrade to make my AVIC-N1 an N3.

Has anyone tried the CD-IB100II with the N1????

Thanks BlackonBlack. But I have already posted over there and no one has responded over there either. I know that there were quite a few G owners with the AVIC-N1, so I was hoping that thy would have responded to this.
