Help! JL 500/1 Amp is going loco

My amp just turns on when it wants to...When the car starts up it takes the amp a while to turn on...i've notice that at low volumes the amp turns off but at higher volume it would turn on...The green light turns off and on when it wants to...I have it set up with the remote wire goes into my other amp and then goes out to the 500/1. What do I do?

Not trying to insult your intelligence, but do you have signal sensing turned off or on?

well, try searching for the fuse under the hood.. near the battery terminal. then from there check the grounds.

I have the same amp and their is no fuse on the amp. I say bring it back to your installer and have them determine if it is their wiring job. If the amp is the issue, get it serviced by JL. Hopefully you purchased it from an authorized JL retailer.

I think JL amps may have internal fuses. I have an e2150 and it says there is a 30amp fuse, however it isn't on the outside of the amp so I'm guessing it's inside. I know you can unscrew the sides, but that sounds kinda iffy.
