same one i'm looking at $1,399 at 6ave.com. I like it cuz i dont need the navi.

wow, 6ave.com had it for $898 at the beginning of summer...which is why i jumped on it.

It might have a 6 disc changer, but the Z1 has a built in harddrive which records your songs.

too bad the z1 rips songs at less than cd quality bitrate and this isnt changeable frmo what i understand. mp3s just dont cut it for me on hi-fi speakers. i got the 6800dvd from 6ave for 898 just 2 months ago. surprised the price jumped this much. hard drives are also prone to failure esp in the car environment (vibrations).
