depends on when it was built, from my understanding, if its built after June 06, then you are out of luck until someone finds a fix, the bypass doesn't work anymore.

The is a new bypass module built by Ducatiboy in avic411.com. I have the old one and it does the job well, the new one for the z1 made after june 06 do the same.

ducatiboy from avic411.com has a module to bypass z1's pre-july 06...after that you can do a similar bypass to the avicd1/d2 bypass. which is only swapping a wire and grounding.

^^^ +1. I have a unit built in July 06, and all I had to do was ground the ebrake, and swap a wire in the harness. SOOOOOOO EASY!!!

I am planning on getting either the z1 or n3. I have a 5AT. What do I need to do. Do I need to buy something else.

Hey khsonic03, can you be more specific on what you did.

My bad about the false info, I hadn't checked the site for a while, and last time I checked there still wasn't a fix. Good to know that theres a way to bypass it now.
