pioneer z1 bypass dvd?

pioneer z1 bypass dvd?

i have a question to bypass the z1 pioneer do you need a module or can you just pulse the illuminate wire?

depends on when it was built, from my understanding, if its built after June 06, then you are out of luck until someone finds a fix, the bypass doesn't work anymore.

The is a new bypass module built by Ducatiboy in avic411.com. I have the old one and it does the job well, the new one for the z1 made after june 06 do the same.

ducatiboy from avic411.com has a module to bypass z1's pre-july 06...after that you can do a similar bypass to the avicd1/d2 bypass. which is only swapping a wire and grounding.

^^^ +1. I have a unit built in July 06, and all I had to do was ground the ebrake, and swap a wire in the harness. SOOOOOOO EASY!!!

I am planning on getting either the z1 or n3. I have a 5AT. What do I need to do. Do I need to buy something else.

My bad about the false info, I hadn't checked the site for a while, and last time I checked there still wasn't a fix. Good to know that theres a way to bypass it now.

i will confirm any z1 units built after Aug 06 does not need ducatiboys module...just ground the dam thing and change one of the wires =) enjoy!

If anyone needs a module for a pre-july 06 z1, i purchased one, but have not bought a z1 and wont for a while as I'm back in school and spending all my "toy money" on the commute...... so I dont need it
