what do u wall think about Resonant Engineering's subs and other components. My friend recomended them to me but it seem they are fairly underground cuz i cant find much about them. The Resonant Engineering web site made it sound like they have very good stuff. What do u guys think is there a better choose out there?

 

They are great for the money. My friend had one in his home theater setup and that thing was loud.

if i wanna get lot of heavy hitting base but still wanna keep clarity is this a good one to get or would i be better off getting one of those JL 12 w7 i keep hearing about. i am very new the hi-fi world so any feed back would be greatly aprecated

 

if it was between a RE and JL audio w7. I would choose the w7. But for car audio I would choose the 10w7 over the 12 w7. The JL audio w7 has a distinct mid punchy bass that no other sub I've heard.

alright nice thanks man thats what i was looking for.

ok next question i like the speakers in the doors the 6.5 inch ones. i like them because they get a lotta bass and hit hard for not being turned up very high. What do u think would be a good replacement to those that willstill keep that low leval bass.

 

i use a RE HC 10" in my install. At 200$ i dont know how you can compare it to a sub that costs 3x as much. I love mine and wouldt even consider JL.

well what i am trying to ask is basicaly i would be willing to spend the money for the JL but can i get as good or nearly as good preformence from the RE? If i can save some money here i can get a better head unit

 

check out the adire brahma... www.adireaudio.com ...this sub is great and sounds VERY close to a w7 imo.

 

Elemental designs is another great sub for the money. Also check out TC sounds.
