Has anyone been able to add a woofer and...
Hello,
Has anyone been able to add a woofer, amp, upgrade speakers BUT still keep the functionality of the steering audio controls AND keep the 6 cd bose changer in the car? (ie. I want a woofer and better speakers BUT I do not want to change the deck or lose the on wheel controls...but I do not know if this is possible to do).
Also, I want controls for teh woofer, since I don't want bass on all the time..would this require a seperate equalizer and control panel for the woofer alone since the deck does not support a woofer input?
Thanks.

You need to search freshalloy..I and many others have posted there numerous times on how to go about this.....the steering whell controls are attatched to the Bose so if you it, you keep them (steering control) as well......as far as Bass eq.....get a rockford fosgate amp for the sub, they have a "Bass ****".

Yea Starfyre: I added a two channel amp up front to a set of kicker components and a Hifonics Zeus with remote level control on a 12"kicker comp VR vented enclosure. With the remote level control I can turn the sub up or off and the remote is mounted up front with me not on the amp. The stereo controls will work fine.
