Tony, very nice install
and very nice choice of HU, definately first clarion head unit i have really liked in a very long time haha
im especially diggin the ipod interface, thats awesome!

Possible good news!

I was inquiring to retaining my steering wheel control w/out using an IR universal module. Got this response from the representative at PAC.

"We are working on an interface for the Clarion stereos which is a direct input to the radio. The part number will be SWI-JACK (JvcAlpineClarionKenwood) which will be released after the first of the year.

does the head unit come with the ipod cord? or do u have to purchase it seperately like alpine? do any of you guys have a link?

The iPod cable is sold separately. There are 2 types, one for audio only iPods, and one for iPod videos. The only differences is the cable for iPod video has a split end where it plugs into the Clarion unit that enables video output. where can i can this deck the cheapest? the best i've found was like $619 shipped. anyone else know a better price?

Take that $619 deal!!! (It's a brand new deck right?) Got mine at $999, with another $150 for installation

what is the status on the SWI-JACK... anyone have any information on this... Tony are you using a pac to retain steering wheel controls??

How is PAC wiring directly to the MAX675VD??? In the installation manual there is no direct input for a wired remote control??? Maybe using the CeNET input????
