gauge power wire

Any trouble running the 4 gauge power wire?

It isnt to fat? Meaning all your trim pieces sit in place properly, not being held up/out of place due to the wire?

If it is an issue, for 250-600 watts would 8 gauge be ok?

I also ran 1/0 without issue. 8 gauge will be fine for 250-600 rms. Any more than that and you might consider going with the 4 gauge.

I ran 0/1 gauge. It's a PITA, but if you have enough amps and electronics, it's good insurance against overloading your wiring.

4 awg is fine to run. I was always advised that you shouldn't exceed 500watts on 8awg. JL recommends minimum of 8awg for their 500/1 and 300/4 if they are wired seperately. If they're on the same power wire with a dist block you need 4awg.
