ok, so im guessing i won't have both functions ?

i have a few videos on my ipod and i would love to watch them over my navi screen. also i would like to watch/ play video games from my ps2 slim as well...

so im guessing i may need like a splitter to switch back and forth from ipod video to ps2 slim video game/ dvd ?

and have my rear view camera in function as well ?

Have you found out anymore info? Im looking to do the same thing as your trying to do, but need to start from scratch. I want to get an ipod, have it play with the nav screen, minus the ps2 and rear view camera. So i guess i need the tvnav2go, and ipod. Any suggestions for the ipod?

sorry for the late response.

if you mean having both functions, as in controlling the volume and changing the track, then no. You can only change the volume.. I had my iPod in the center console, so if I wanted to change track it was within reach so I didn't worry about it too much.

I'm not sure how much time you spend in your G but having a PS2 in there wouldn't be beneficial, well at least to me. Since you have to run power to the PS2... If I want to watch movies on my NAV screen, I just convert the DVD's into iPod format which doesn't take too long and bamm, I have them wherever I go. Anywho, that's what I do. But if you still want to have both things, then I would think the splitter should work fine.

And yea, your rear view camera should function properly as well. Do you know what wires to tap for the rear view camera installation?

you're still going to need the PAC-NIS unit since that's what lets you have the audio.

For the iPod, depends on how much music, music videos you have. I have a ton of music, and music videos and a few converted DVD's into my iPod, so I had to have the 80GB.

As long as you get a video ipod, you should be fine.

But don't forget the PAC-NIS unit as well.
