iPod, PA11 & TVandNAV2GO - Will iPod video work?

OK, I've been looking for a couple of days now and haven't been able to find *the* answer I'm looking for. Basically, I'm looking to play videos from my iPod through the OEM Bose setup and Navi system with the PA11 & TVandNAV2GO while still being able to use the steering wheel controls. Can this be done? If so, how would I go about hooking this up? Will I need additional cabling other that what's supplied in the two kits?

yea you need the iPod AV cable (I found it for $5.00) and thats pretty much it, just hook the yellow (video) rca to the tvandnav2go unit and the plug for the USAspec and thats it...I have it up and running on mine

Are you talking about something like this?

if I use something like that, will I lose the ability to change tracks, etc. with the steering wheel?

Looks like I may have answered my own question. Something like this...

Connect this to where you'd normally plug in headphones. Plug the yellow on the other end to the TVandNAV2GO and the red & white to the Aux Audio Input on the PA11.

How did I do?

this is the one.....you can hook up the red and white but you would just be hooking it up twice really...the audio transmits thru the USAspec (dock connector) so if I were you id hook up something else to the aux inputs (playstation maybe?? )

nope. you had to do everything via the iPod.

My solution: just make a few playlists and you'll forget about having to control the iPod. Only the volume.

ok, so i can only controll the volume and change tracks ? (if so thats cool by me, already have 3 sets of playlist)

also i want to throw in the rear view camera as well. will all of these things work ?

1-rear view cam ? all i need is video (yellow)
2-ipod ? all i need is audio (white & red)
3-ps2 slim ? all i need is video & audio (yellow, white & red)

oopps forgot, no you can only change the volume. Up or down. That's why I make playlists so I don't have to change any tracks, only mess with the volume.

1 - correct
2 - that depends (I'll explain in a bit)
3 - correct

The TV2Nav2Go has the place to plug in the yellow RCA cable.
PAC-NIS unit has the Red and White RCA plug-ins.

I bought the cable from Apple ($25) which had the yellow/red/white RCA cable on one end and the other end had the earpiece thingy where you plug in on the iPod. I did it this way so I can view my music videos from my video iPod. By the way, if you want to go this route, you'll need a switch (which can't be really talked about on the forums) to switch from the OEM Nav screen to the Video from whatever (iPod/PS2/etc..). Either way, I didn't do the install myself so I have no clue where that wire goes to.

If I remember correctly, the TV2Nav2Go has 2 yellow inputs, one for whatever you want and the other for the rear view camera.
