Welp, this is going to be a huge deal to replace the headunit ($185 dash kit and $800 double din in dash dvd screen) so for now I just want to run the stock headunit with my boston pro components and 4 channel amp. I am pretty sure I need a line output converter so my amp will connect to the headunit cleanly...wondering if the price difference between the $20 Scosche Unit and the $70 Soundgate was worth it...thanks for the help!

If you run a sub, I think it will be worth it, the Soundgate has the best low-end response around.

Will I need a certain Line Output Converter?? (one that is 4 channels vs 2 for example) or are they pretty universal?
