hey i just ordered an in-dash tv for the car and need to order the double din. But i need help. I have the stock navigation in the car as well. Im guessing i would need to order it from japanparts.com. but i dont really understand the whole a/c controller thing. if some one could pls school me on this. and if ne one gots pix of there car with it done that would be perfect. thanks guys.

Check out this Double Din Answers thread and the several others that discuss this. There's a picture in that thead of the controller board that's in your car now. As you can see, the radio controls and the A/C controls are on one circuit board. To remove the stock radio, you need the A/C-only circuit board. Plus, the A/C-only board available from Japan does not have the dual-climate button, though the circuit exists on the board.. you have to steal the button from your current board and solder it to the new one. I think we have a member that will be doing this setup to a friend's car soon and documenting the whole thing with pictures. Stay tuned.

ok...i got it install but friday night. sorry, my digital camera went south on me. i will create a detail instruction on how to get the part(s) and installing it.

now, the only problem now is that i just had a little accident on Sunday, fractured my elbow. Went to emergency room and i am okay but with a cast on my right arm. it will take me awhile to get the DIY doc up. Please bare with me. Thanks

Sorry to hear about the elbow. Pics of the new dash and setup would be great. I'm still debating whether or not I want to keep the OEM look but I want my MP3 headunit back!
