Amp Power Cable/Battery??
I started wiring up my system and had a few questions for you Full and Semi Guru's out there. I noticed the bare bolt with nothing on it and was wondering would it be a good idea to run my power cable right from there or does this spot serve another funtion.

Second I was try to find a good spot to mount my amp fuse case. I'm thinking of mounting it right on top of the air intake the goes to the air condition (i think). Do you think this is a bad spot.

How have you guys mounted or hooked up you power cables?

use the bolt next to it, it a 12 mm i believe, then cut a slot in your terminal cover so it fits over it.
second, if you have a normal fuse holder, hwa ti do is have it so the one side mounting tab widges under the battery tie down bar, its secure and simple, no drilling and easy access.

Well I used a 4 gauge JL kit. The fuse holer is kinda big. I don't think it'll fit right under the battery tie down brace.

Well I solve the Fuse issue. i just dremeled down the clear tabs on the lid a lil bit just to make enought room for some zip ties to slide through and I tied it to that main cable coming out of the car. Now I just need to figure the best option for the power connection.
