Cheaper alternative for nav was getting the dock for my blackbird portable gps. The dock works perfectly with the alpine hu and controls the blackbird completely. Signal is boosted with the external antenna. Alpine nav would have cost me min 1500 for the unit, this setup cost me around 500 for everything.

 

So how is this set up? Is it just a plug and play? where did you mount the dock?

 

$500 for everything??? I got a blackbird... how much and where did you get the dock from???
