Question about USB port in kenwood indash

i was wondering if it is possible to hook up an external hard drive thru the usb port on the kenwood DDX7019 or DDX8019 if i ran a power inverter to it... if anyone has info it would be very helpful

highly doubt it. the drivers required to access a flash drive are completely different from accessing "USB Storage" hard drive.
