I went to Nissan at lunch and test drove a Murano it has our Bose stereo and a subwoofer hidden in the spare tire. They run on 18s but I was wondering has anyone looked in to this being availible for our cars? Should I be asking Nissan for the rest of us?

Yeah...I saw that today too...it's actually a Bose home theater system with a center channel in the dash and everything...how cool would that be to add a sub to our bose stereos...

 

I was told at the dealership that the G35 comes with subs

 

I think the G35 comes with a mini-sub behind the middle back seat.

 

I was told no subs...just a "very well designed audio experience". Well does that mean a sub or no sub. I can't get a straight answer. I have been told no by the SJ dealer but I don't believe $hit they say. Told me I couldn't afford the G and would not give me a test drive...they hadn't even seen my credit. A$$HOLES

My fault...I was thinking of the FX45 that I saw yesterday...that had the Bose home theater system in it w/ the sub in the spare tire...11 speakers, 300 watts...

 

bose g35c and g35s both have a sub. non bose g35's do not have a sub.

The Bose system has 7 speakers. 6 + a sub. It's the speaker in the center of the rear dash with the Bose logo on it.

Great Thanks for the info. I was baggin on the bose but with no clear cut answer what do you do...ask other members. Do any of you think we can still add the spare tire sub? I always want more bass.

I don't know about you guys...but I got the 6M coupe w/ the premium package and bose, and I have no sub. Not only that...but there is not room for a sub in the rear deck of the coupe...so why do you say there's a sub...?

Sorry.. I have a sedan. According to Infiniti's website, the Bose system on the sedan has 7 speakers.. 6 plus an Nd subwoofer (the thing in the rear deck), and the coupe has an 8-speaker Bose system, and doesn't mention a subwoofer.

I think that the 2 6x9's in the rear deck act like a sub for the coupe. I looked at my coupe through the trunk, and all I saw was the 6x9's. I even checked the spare tire just in case, nothing there. Still sounds great though, I wouldn't mind a little more bass.
