It should be the blue wire coming out of your pioneer hu. Here's how it looks on my pioneer for reference. Connect it up to wire #5 on the harness above.

thanks. i look at the alpine hu and yes it does have the blue wire for power antena. I will do it today or tomorrow. THanks for the help.

I had the same problem with my Kenwood Aftermarket receiver (KVT911dvd) I was never able to get it to pick FM up. It always sounded like it was picking up distortion from an electrical source. Spoke to Kenwood, who was of no help. The shop that did the install even had 2 Kenwood techs listen to it in the car and they could not figure out the problem.
I finally hooked a line output converter to the Bose unit and patched it into the auxillary input of the Kenwood. Sounds great and I have full use of the steering wheel controls to control the Bose as well as being able to use the 6cd changer.
