newest install done :) 03 mustang, please dont mock the car ;)
The installation quality and fit/finish is light years ahead of Ford's interior quality. Oh sweet irony.
On the other hand, I'm guessing 16psibrick gets more margin on his work than Ford does for its interior, so it proves the "you get what you pay for" adage.
Reminds me why I love my G35c so much.

i do about 1 socal car every month or two
Infact, i have a G35 from LA right now hehe, its a 4.5 hours drive from socal to my house...and if it means a quality job and money saved...well...
anyway, i think you guys are playing too much about the weight of dampening.
he gave me two rolls of Raammat, about 80lbs for both rolls, i used 1.2 rolls, so about 50lbs added in sound proofing. the rear seat was removed, whcih weight about 80 lbs. and then the stereo added about 70-80 lbs...so total net weight gain is about 50-60lbs? lol thats like 3-4 hp hehe
its when you do the entire car, you tend to add about 100-150 lbs if not more
i charged him only 1300 for all labor, wiring, doing the dampneing all the stuff
but thast becuase he was referred to me by a good friend...
normal cost for all the wiring, ALL the dampening laying, labor, materials etc on this car would probably be over 1500 to 2k total

A few friends of mine who owns good shops told me they would charge about 2500-3000 in labor and wiring for something similar
Nice job. Another one that's comletely unique. The trunk room savings is awesome as well. Beautiful craftsmanship. How exspensive is to work with suede sheets and where do you usually get it, if you don't mind me asking. I've always wanted to do some projects with it.
